Frequently Asked Questions
Q. I have some questions. Can I contact you without scheduling an exploration session?
A. Of course! I am always happy to answer your questions or to simply talk! The best way to reach me is via email. I offer exploration sessions because they are a powerful way to explore, without obligation and in a safe environment, what you are wanting at this juncture in your life, what is getting in your way, and how I might be able to support you in creating what you want.
Q. What is the difference between coaching and therapy?
A. Coaching is not consulting: A consultant may give you tips on how to start your own business or invest your money. As your coach, I will offer resources, help you tap into your wisdom, and support you in generating a plan that gets you where you want to go. I support clients amid a myriad of various life changes and circumstances. People come to me wanting to:
- advance or shift careers
- launch or improve their entrepreneurial business
- enhance healthy relationships
- create satisfying balance amid the demands of parenting
- build solid finances
- invest in personal well-being
- prioritize creative endeavors
- and more.
Each person has unique desires and circumstances and my coaching is customized to meet your individual needs. However there is a basic process that you’ll be guided through. For more information about the elements of my process, please see About Gwenn Prinbeck Coaching.
Q. Who is the ideal client?
A. My ideal clients have sense that their personal potential has yet to be fully tapped. They are ready to invest in themselves emotionally, energetically, and financially. They are willing to take action and stretch themselves to create more joy and life satisfaction than ever before. They are passionate and dedicated seekers who may sometimes despair at the agony of not yet having able to authentically partner with me to share their authentic selves in order to get their unique needs fulfilled. I work with people who want to feel proud of their life and are willing to dig deep, face fear, and invite challenge to know that they have lived fully and made a difference.
Q: Do the sessions take place in person?
A. In general, I conduct all coaching sessions remotely via video conference or phone. Time zones and commute time are no obstacle! Some people value face-to-face interaction and I am open to that conversation if the logistics make sense. There may be additional charges for commute time.
